"Obsession" is located here at our facility here in Noank, CT. and was custom built by a very knowledgable and demanding Captain. Her hull was built by Northern Bay in Maine to a Chuck Paine design and beautifully finished off by Sea Pearl Marine, LLC.

A custom, rugged, reliable, comfortable, true downeast lobster yacht, with seaworthy utility and classic features, "Obsession" was finished to a very high standard in 2008. An exceptionally well-thought out cruiser, features include a spacious, bright, and open salon. She has a unique and preferred two-cabin layout with the galley up. Her interior offers sleeping accomodations for four adults through two single bunks and a full berth in the forward cabin. The exterior of the vessel was designed and built for a "no maintenance" finish. Very quiet running, her owner reports an average of 1.6 miles per gallon. The builder is also a licensed captain and will include with purchase, training and free delivery to anywhere on the East coast. Optional customization is also available through the builder. Anyone considering a true downeast yacht, would be well served to consider "Obsession". She is dual purpose in that she is all business on the outside, but comfortably, even elegantly finished off inside.
