"Obsession" is located here at our facility here in Noank, CT. and was custom built by a very knowledgable and demanding Captain. Her hull was built by Northern Bay in Maine to a Chuck Paine design and beautifully finished off by Sea Pearl Marine, LLC.
A custom, rugged, reliable, comfortable, true downeast lobster yacht, with seaworthy utility and classic features, "Obsession" was finished to a very high standard in 2008. An exceptionally well-thought out cruiser, features include a spacious, bright, and open salon. She has a unique and preferred two-cabin layout with the galley up. Her interior offers sleeping accomodations for four adults through two single bunks and a full berth in the forward cabin. The exterior of the vessel was designed and built for a "no maintenance" finish. Very quiet running, her owner reports an average of 1.6 miles per gallon. The builder is also a licensed captain and will include with purchase, training and free delivery to anywhere on the East coast. Optional customization is also available through the builder. Anyone considering a true downeast yacht, would be well served to consider "Obsession". She is dual purpose in that she is all business on the outside, but comfortably, even elegantly finished off inside.

With the 356, Hunter removed the boundaries that could restrain other builders in bringing you the most outstanding mid-size introduction in decades. Hunter designers and engineers worked in concert with the extensive research we have compiled to come up with an innovative design that exceeds the expectations of a mid-size cruiser. The wide beam is carried well aft to provide incredible spaciousness below, but unlike many others; performance is not sacrificed. A cavernous sail locker can swallow the asymmetrical and a roll-up dinghy and still have room for more. The large cockpit features a Whitlock steering system, fold-up tables and plenty of room to stretch out. An entertainment -size salon is center to the lavish interior and is flanked by two private staterooms. The full service galley is complete for any chef. This interior rivals that of much larger boats and is finished to the level of semi-custom yachts. You owe it yourself to board the 356. We know you'll see the Difference.

One of Carver's nicest little Aft Cruisers. She is a full 30', plus a bow pulpit and a swim platform, overall length is appx 35'. This boat has the inside room of a much larger boat. There are two separate staterooms. One in front has a large 7' berth, with closet abundant storage space. A bulkhead gives you all the privacy you would need. The aft stateroom has two large singles that can pull out to make into small doubles. Again there is closet and storage space. There is a large dresser with drawers and cabinets between the two berths. This 30' features a large enclosed head and a separate stall shower. This is a great 30' cruising boat. Carver still makes a similar updated version of this boat due to its popularity. Garmin 230 GPS/Chartplotter, Standard Horizon VHF, Ritche compass, new rudder indicator, Hynautic pressurized hydraulic steering system on both helms, 2X 220 HP Crusader straight shaft inboards fresh water cooled, easy engine access, 1700 watt inverter, total hours on boat less than 500.
