The vessel "Mabel" was custom built by Jeff Todd over a span of a few years, and completed in 2009 (although the Hull ID was assigned in 2006). The interior of the vessel consists of a main cabin and forward cabin and a V-berth. Her cabin sole is constructed of painted plywood and the majority of the interior finishes are painted wood, varnished ceder, and varnished redwood. There are cushions on all bunks. She has overnight accomodations for 2 people and ample storage room. She is not presently equipped with a head, galley or water system, which will be completed in the near future. The main construction material in her hull is Ceder and Yellow Cypress planking on oak framing (Epoxy Coated). The deck and superstructure of the vessel is constructed with Ceder on White Oak framing (Epoxy Coated). There are continuous longitudinal stringers in the center of the hull and at the hull / deck joint. She is powered by a New 260 hp. Yanmar Diesel.
